Want to sell over $1000 in one day?!  Have a Holiday Open House like Red Jacket Cindy Ewing did, selling over $1500!  Way to go girl!  She shared her great know how with us and has even shared the following files, so that you can do it too.  Step one: Do it now, you will run out of time before you know it!  This is great material to get things rolling:
  • Hold a Holiday Pre-view in September or early October with selected customers to show the limited holiday gift items. From this, you'll get an idea what will be popular for your holiday orders.
  • Hold your open house the the first or second weekend of November (before Thanksgiving - before black Friday). 
  • Send invitations in a colored envelope which I believed helps people to not toss it with the junk mail. Incentive to come, FREE lipstick.
  • COMMUNICATION/FOLLOW UP IS KEY! Send a follow up email to each person invited with more detail about the open house specifically about having pre-wrapped gifts for under $10, $15, $20, $25. Send them to your website with instructions on how to navigate to the holiday gift items.
  • COMMUNICATION/FOLLOW UP IS KEY! Send a group reminder email the Thursday before your open house. Call each customer the Friday before your open house. Let them know how excited you are about your holiday open house and about seeing them. Promote your event through your voice.  
  • Spend very little time decorating, but have holiday candles burning, apple cider in a crock pot and easy treats for customers to enjoy while checking out.
  • Set up four main tables and include tester products for most items. 
  1. Holiday Gift Table - all of the new limited holiday gift items and  the regular body care products and parfums. 
  2. Stocking Stuffer Table - gifts under $20, pre-wrapped. Includ lipgloss, tinted lip balm, eyesicles, mascara, hand cream, Mint Bliss and Fall Gift With Purchase items. 
  3. Skin Care Product Table - full retail skin care product line. If they see it they will remember they need it, or try something new. 
  4. Bargain Table - discountinued items and left over limited items at a reduced price. Ladies are always shopping for a bargain.
  • Schedule a Open House party with a customer who would like to host one for her friends.

Cookout At Colleen's

Thank you Director Colleen Beller, our gracious hostess for the Consistency Challenge Cookout.  She opened up her beautiful home to us, with the steel rim fire pit in the back yard and everything!  I know my son had a blast with the other kids on the playground, and I think everyone had a great time.  The clubhouse was AWESOME!  Speaking of, the man of the house, Les Beller, became Mr. Popular with the kids when he broke out the riding mower for towing kiddies around.

There was a lot of good food, thank you to everyone who brought  goodies, but I have to say the s'mores were the yummiest.  Can you believe Michaella had never had one before!?  Glad we got that cured!

New Consultants - We continue training with Director Michaella Fields and Kathryn Hale, with week five, Getting Your Head in the Game.  Learn about creating your image, managing your emotions and taking a mental bath.

Master's training will be taught by Coral Todd, one of the hottest consultants in our area!  She's moving up to bigger and better things and is happy to share what's she's learned with you.


Director Colleen Beller will pamper your guests with a Basic Skin Care Class.  RSVP skin type and Guest Name to Robin @ 720 851-6509 by Monday morning 11:00 am.  THE change:  Have your guests come to the makeover room a little early to have their guests foundation matched, so you can still be back in the main room when the meeting starts at 6:30pm.


Please bring a goodie bag for each guest, containing:
  • Chocolates (of course!)
  • The appropriate bronzer sample for their skin tone
  • A cotton ball to apply bronzer
  • A lip color appropriate for their skin tone (Consultants choice if they would like to include a lipstick sample and/or lipgloss sample, or both, based on their own customers preferences)
  • Consultants business card
  • Any other goodies the Consultant would like to add


For the most part the skin care class usually focuses on the cheeks down.  If we do eyes, we usually use eyesicles and mascara, which the Directors normally have on hand.  


Also, to cut down on product waste, we will no longer have trays pre-filled before class.  We will have mirrors, washcloths, profiles, sales slips, etc. ready to go, and then squirt product into trays as we go.  This way, we are not filling trays that will not be used.

SuzAnne Finishes 10 Class Week

To start off our night of Recognition, we say Congratulations to SuzAnne Brothers, our super fantastic National Sales Director, who accepted the challenge of having a 10 class week! She said it had its tough moments, but at the same time she loved every minute. It especially feels good to have one of your customers tell you its the most fun they've ever had! I so admire her for rolling up her sleeves and walking in the shoes of a consultant! I also bet she's pretty happy with her $800 week!

Director Michaella Fields was the FIRST Director in the Brothers AREA to finish her 10 class week - you ROCK lady! She won a special prize from SuzAnne for taking on and completing her 10 class week!

For those of you who are taking on this challenge now, we're cheering you on! You CAN do this! There is no such thing as failure, celebrate any results you get from your efforts!

Finally, we were able, last night, to award the Seminar 2010 Prizes--seems as if we've been on a Roller Coaster since returning from Seminar--so it's with pleasure that I commend the following Consultants for their awesome performance during the year:

Ralinda Parsons--Rookie of the Year (won a beautiful Necklace & earring Set) for her Consistent Sales-just under $10,000, being a STAR Consultant each Quarter, her Team Building, and her tremendous number of Guests brought to Success Meeting & Events!

Cynthia Stadig--Most Improved Consultant for the Year--almost doubling her Sales over last year (won a beautiful Crown Necklace)

Maria Hill--Miss Go-Give for the Year Her nomination was unanimous--her smiling face, consistent attendance at everything, willingess to play "full out" and never missing an opportunity to call the Hot-Line, for which she won the prize, as well!  Her prize was the Heart Pin for Go-Give & a beautiful hand painted vase & candle holder.

Becky Alvarez--The Small Consistency Club for being consistant in her Orders & Sales won the New Bronzing Stick.

Lisa Young & Shontell Perkins--the Best Future Director's Prize for being such wonderful stand in Director's for over six months, until we were able to secure a Meeting Studio.  We appreciate all they contributed to our Training and Stability, as a Unit--Thank you both!

Director Michaella Fields teaches our New Consultants!  Starting fresh with Week 1 - Coming Out of the Gates: Communication, Power Starts, Court Recognition, Area and Unit Promotions, Creating Your Dream Poster, The Three P's Training Tree.
